Today, we are presenting one of the Hamilton's RR watches, a Hamilton Railroad pocket watch dated from 1905. It is a high-quality mechanical pocket watch Hamilton grade 940, 21 jewel movement, 18s, model 1, adjusted in temperature and 5 positions. Made in U.S.A. The 940 is a lever set watch, so you pull out a lever to set the time.
It has openface design with the original white dial (showing some age) features large bold Arabic numerals, a black minute track with red marking every 10 minutes, and matching blue steel hands. The sub-second dial is positioned at 6 o'clock, and the dial is signed with Hamilton Watch Co. at the top.
Cased in a 55.6mm round case with intricate engraved decorations on the case, oresilver - nickel alloy.
This Hamilton wristwatch is still in good condition. Runs very well and keeps great time!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown.
