The ref. 6424 is certainly one of these anomalies, the manual wind Oyster Precision boasts an oversized 36mm case that features long, broad lugs, but the oddest characteristic of this case is the absence of lug holes, a detail most commonly seen in Rolex precious metal watches. The ref. 6424 is not only unique but it is impressively handsome and very versatile, making for a perfect everyday watch.

CASE & BRACELET

The handsome and oversized 36mm case features solid, non-drilled lugs, that remain extremely thick, symmetrical, and crisp with minimal evidence of previous polishing and gentle signs of use. The smooth stainless steel bezel shows minimal signs of use and is in impressive condition overall. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.

DIAL & HANDS

The original silver sunburst dial expands the wrist presence and visual dimension of the watch further and is in very well-preserved vintage condition. The dial has achieved a charming warmth and exhibits some nominal elements of age that have no effect on the overall aesthetic. The tritium lume plots have taken on a lovely creamy beige patina and show very nominal degradation when inspected under UV light. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and feature a sleek blued-steel second's hand for a touch of color with no degradation present in the tritium when inspected under UV light.

None. The watch is keeping time perfectly, but the service history is unknown. A movement service can be provided upon request.
