The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made. This specific 1972 Datejust Ref. 1601 retains its original Grey "pie-pan" stick marker dial and is in excellent condition with its original Jubilee bracelet and white gold fluted bezel. CASE & BRACELET

The exceptional case retains very thick and symmetrical lugs that boast the original factory geometry and finishing with light signs of use. The white gold fluted bezel remains unpolished with almost no signs of use. The original Rolex 6251H rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces retains 22 links that show minimal stretch and will fit up to a 7 1/2-inch wrist.

DIAL & HANDS

The beautiful grey sunburst "pie-pan" dial is in flawless vintage condition, showing no damage or age. The tritium lume plots have achieved a lovely creamy yellow patina, under U.V. light inspection all of the lume plots remain fully present and display only gentle degradation in some spots. The original tritium hands have aged to a dark patina that coordinates nicely with the dial, under U.V. light inspection the hands show no degradation. The metallic date wheel is original with open 6's and 9's.

ACCESSORIES 

The watch comes complete with its original Rolex Guarantee Paper. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
