The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made, even though the Datejust was launched in 1945 it has remained a timeless classic and is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. The Datejust can be worn just as easily with a suit as it can be with jeans and a tee-shirt.
One of the largest evolutions for the Rolex Datejust model lineup was at the end of the 1970s with the introduction of the first "flat dial" Datejust. The white gold bezel was upgraded from 14k to 18k white gold and the movement was vastly upgraded to the Rolex cal. 3035 quick-set movement. These Datejust variations are often referred to as "transitional" as they still feature the more classic acrylic crystals and tritium lume whilst housing many advancements.

CASE & BRACELET
The strong case shows honest signs of use, has been lightly polished in the past, and retains thick and symmetrical lugs. The 18k white gold bezel remains unpolished with light signs of honest use. The original Rolex 62510H "D-Link" Jubilee bracelet with 555 end pieces retains 20 links and exhibits normal stretch from bracelets from this era.
DIAL & HANDS
The stunning black sunburst dial with chapter ring minute track is in exceptional condition showing no age or damage. The tritium lume plots have aged to a gorgeous yellow coloration, under U.V. light inspected all of the lume plots remain intact, though the 3 o'clock plot exhibits degradation, the rest of the plots show no degradation whatsoever. The original tritium hands have aged lighter than the dial, which is common in this era, and show no degradation under U.V. light inspection. The white date wheel is era correct with open 6's and 9's.

None. This watch just received a full service and is keeping time within COSC spec, back by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
