What a fantastic and rare find, I'm smitten to call this locket mine, even if it's just temporarily until he finds a forever home. This locket would be perfect as sentimental a gift to a loved one or worn on a thick chain as a perfect long layer on your neck. This locket is from the mid 1800's

Dimensions: weights 19.93 grams , 2 inches in lenght ( 5.5cm) and 3.3cm in width .

Marks/metal: marked 15ct on the bail for 15k gold, all solid gold. 

Stones: One center light yellow diamond that is 0.20ct approx. and rose cuts that emanate from it in a star shaped form, bead set on to the gold. The diamonds are Si1-I1 no visible damage to the diamonds under magnification

Condition: In very good condition for it's age, there is scuffing and light scratches on the gold, one shallow dent on the underside part where the locket opens.
