The inside of the links show a dark patina earned with age, and the links so have flea bites on the edges, also earned with age as well as some being slightly bent out of round, due to the softness of the gold, but overall this does not affect how the chain looks when it is worn, rather adds to it's antique charm. With such a unusual pattern on the links and the rich yellow gold I feel it is a one of a kind find.
