A grand Antique late Victorian ring depicting two 18ct Yellow Gold snakes coiled together with a 0.20ct blue Sapphire and red Ruby crowned upon each head.
Serpent jewellery was popular in Victorian times, after Prince Albert gifted the young queen Victoria with a serpent ring during their courtship. Two entwined snakes came to represent loyalty, friendship and eternal love.
It’s a spectacular statement piece and looks wonderful wrapped around the finger.
