Without a doubt one of my favorite makers Unoaerre is the standard I hold all of my Italian goldsmiths too when looking for a top tier piece of jewelry. Whether wearing it solo, layered with other necklaces, with or without a pendant this chunky rope chain does it all. A staple piece in my jewelry box, a rope chain is always my go to for a plethora of different reasons but this isn’t just your average rope necklace. Having been made sometime around the middle part of the 1900’s and crafted out of a vibrant 18k yellow gold this chain is great for those who like a bit of a longer look or like to just toss the necklace over their head without unclasping it as it is 24” in length and a chunky 4mm thick with a weight of 12g this piece isn’t so overbearingly heavy yet has strength to not have any second thoughts about any damage being done with a big money look to it.
