BRIEF WATER EXPOSURE
Luckily, brief encounters with water will not ruin a CCJ piece. Quick washing of your hands while wearing jewelry is fine. Just be sure to dry the jewelry thoroughly afterwards with a soft cloth. The short stint in the rain or accidental splash probably won't hurt either, as long as the jewelry doesn't remain damp for an extended period.
