This amazing antique banded agate bead necklace dates to the Victorian period, circa 1860. Each bead features that typical, strong single strip down the centre- getting smaller as they graduate in size towards the gold fittings and concealed clasp. Each one with a smooth and round exterior, it's strung with 34 beads giving it a wearable length of 23 inches.
