A gorgeous, chunky cuff bangle with a large buckle and strap motif. It dates from the Victorian period - circa 1880 - crafted in Sterling silver throughout. The buckle motif was popular in Victorian jewellery, with Queen Victoria herself said to favour the design. It symbolised eternity, loyalty, strength and protection.
